Question by Mimisimum: Is pilates a good exercise for someone with scoliosis? Or it will actually worsen it?

From what I’ve heard from the ladies on another forum that I hang at, pilates is a great way to exercise and keep your core muscles strong. Pilates won’t treat scoliosis. Pilates won’t make it worse either, at least if the scoliosis is structural or “idiopathic”. “Idiopathic” is one kind of structural scoliosis that means that the cause is unknown.
