Question by shamrok: What does it mean to exercise using pilates?
Do pilates also strengthen muscles or is it mostly mental? I want to become stronger, faster, more explosive and better conditioned. Someone recommended pilates for men, but I’m not sure what it means. Would pilates help me achieve those goals? or is it more of a yoga type of exercise?

Go rent a DVD. Pilates are a series of exercises that works the back, abs, and flexibility.
