What is the best cardio/aerobic videos out there for beginers?

Question by grunt’s wife: What is the best cardio/aerobic videos out there for beginers?
I need something that isnt to harsh on the arches of my feet and something that is great for cardio and or aerobic. I am 70 pounds overweight and pilates and yoga are extremly hard with a big belly. So something that stays up and keeps you moving. Please no equipment!

This website has great information on exercise videos for people at all levels. You will probably see several that you would be interested in. It just depends on what you like. They have reviewed the “Walk Away The Pounds” series with and without the exercise bands. People don’t give walking the credit it deserves for helping the body to slim down. Anyway, here you can read the reviews of many beginner videos/DVDs:

Q&A: How do I tone up my thighs and get flatter stomach?

Question by Wysdom: How do I tone up my thighs and get flatter stomach?
Ok, here is the deal, I read lots and lots on exercises but I have one problem that noone seems to know the answer to. I would like to try pilates but I am very short (4’10) and it doesn’t seem like people make exercise equipment for the vertically challenged. Help anyone? Am I too short for pilates? By the way, I have knee problems so cant run to burn calories/fat.

Instead of running, try an ellipse machine, or spinning class. I just made that switch myself. It takes longer than running but I can do it with less pain.

The change was based on advice from an orthopedic surgeon.
