I go to a pilates class at our gym and am wondering what type of poses I should modify since I am pregnant. Thank you!!

anything that involves lying on your belly or flat on your back. Just ask the instructor prior to starting the class I bet s/he will be of great help.

It’s something that I’d really love to do on the side. I’m working on Pilates and getting fit now. Anyone out there already an instructor. How did you get there? Thanks!

I love doing Pilates. As a former ballet dancer, it is a way to retain my flexibility and lean muscles. I have heard warnings, though, that practicing Pilates too often can cause the abdominal muscles to overly form and cause the stomach to look larger because of the muscle. I’m just curious– what exactly is too often?

I’ve never heard anything like that. I have heard and read that you only need 30-45 minutes a few times a week for the benefits to be fine. However, most people love doing them and continue to do them daily, and there really isn’t any harm.
